BIU Sales Award

BIU has been awarding the BIU Sales Award to particularly successful computer and console games since 2008. The basis for this award are the sales figures of games on data media in Germany reported by media control GfK INTERNATIONAL.

At least 100,000 games were sold for a gaming platform on the German market in a period of 12 months.

BIU Platin Award

BIU Platin Award

At least 200,000 games were sold for a gaming platform on the German market in a period of 12 months.

BIU Sonderpreis

BIU Sonderpreis

At least 500,000 games were sold for a gaming platform on the German market in a period of 12 months.

BIU Multiplattform Award

At least 500,000 or more than 1 million games were sold on different platforms on the German market in a period of 12 months.
